Dr. Emily Baldwin

I completed a one-year internship in Critical Care Small Animal Medicine in Charlotte, NC before relocating to Northern Georgia.

Hobbies and Interests: I am excited to join the Dawsonville community with my three daughters and numerous pets (3 cats, 1 dog, 1 bird, and 4 fish at last count).

Dr. David Wonders

Has been in the veterinarian industry since 1991.
Where did you go to school? Dr. Wonders graduated from the University of Georgia.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Dr. Wonders prides himself on providing quality, compassionate care with excellent client communication.
What do you like to do in your free time? Dr. Wonders enjoys playing golf and tennis, computer gaming, and cooking in his free time.

Sarah Pirkle
Office Manager
Has been in the veterinarian industry since 2019.
Where did you go to school? Sarah is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University for her associate degree in business management.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Sarah prides herself in building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with the clients and providing excellent customer service.
What do you like to do in your free time? Sarah enjoys spending time with her family in her free time. She also sells Pampered Chef and homemade dog treats.
LeAnne Stowers
Practice Manager
LeAnne prides herself on working with the staff and meeting all their needs and the challenge of keeping the hospital running smoothly. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, she enjoys learning and teaching something new every day.
Years in Practice: Since 1996
Education: LeAnne graduated from Dawson County High School and has an associates of Psychology degree from Gainesville Jr. College. She passed the National Veterinarian Technician Exam in 2004.
Hobbies and Interests: LeAnne enjoys watching college and NFL football. Go Dawgs! She also enjoys traveling and experiencing new things.

Alyssa Smith
Veterinary Assistant
Has been in the veterinarian industry since 2013.
Where did you go to school? Alyssa is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Alyssa prides herself on continuing to improve her knowledge and passing that knowledge onto new assistants.
What do you like to do in your free time? Alyssa enjoys making crafts out of resin, reading fantasy books, and playing D&D with her close friends. She also thoroughly enjoys tormenting her coworkers with terrible puns and jokes.
Connor Scroggins
Veterinary Assistant
Has been in the veterinarian industry since 2020
Where did you go to school? Connor was a former Division 1 Athlete at Presbyterian College. He is currently enrolled at the University of North Georgia.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Connor takes pride in his job by making sure clients leave the practice with all their questions addressed and answered and are pleased with the care they were given.
What do you like to do in your free time? Connor enjoys working out at the gym. When he is not working out, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, and going fishing and kayaking. In the fall he enjoys hunting and going to UGA football games. Connor’s enthusiasm for life is contagious.
Abby Baker

I have been in the veterinarian industry since 2022.
Where did you go to school? I graduated from Dawson County High School and am currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? I pride myself on providing the best care I can give to the patients and treating the clients and their pets with respect.
What do you like to do in your free time? I like to spend time with friends and family.
Clara Baldwin

I enjoy doing my part in helping care for animals. Despite my age, I try to do whatever is asked of me.

Hobbies and Interests: I am in the marching band, and I play the clarinet. I like spending time with my friends, reading, swimming, and going to school.

Where did you go to school? Kathy graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Kathy prides herself on addressing and meeting clients and their pet’s needs.
What do you like to do in your free time? Kathy enjoys gardening, photography, and spending time with her dogs and cats.
Kacy Kimbral

Has been in the veterinarian industry since 2021.
Where did you go to school? Kacy graduated from Dawson County High School and is currently going to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Kacy prides herself on making the patients and clients happy, with their health being her number one priority. She enjoys making personal connections with each pet, and seeing their happy faces walk in.
What do you like to do in your free time? Although she doesn’t have much free time past raising her 5 month old daughter, when she does find time for herself she enjoys reading, drawing, and spending time outdoors.
Maggie Pierce

Where did you go to school? Maggie attended University of South Florida
What do you pride yourself in when it comes to veterinary medicine and/or taking care of your patients? Maggie prides herself in treating the clients’ pets as if they were one of her own.
What do you like to do in your free time? Maggie is a local artist and does pastel and oil paintings. She also photographs nature, enjoys hiking and fishing, and caring for her four Cocker Spaniels.
